Leadership Academy
(8th-10th Grade)

We’re pleased to introduce the Driftwood Leadership Academy, a new opportunity for our most senior campers to gain work experience and leadership skills. This program serves as an alternative to the overnight trips offered through our Teen Travel Program.

Campers entering Grades 8–10 will have the chance to assist in select areas of camp on the days when the Teen Travel Program is away on overnights. Our on-camp Leadership Academy Liaison will help assign campers to areas of interest. Weekly flexibility will allow campers to explore different areas throughout the summer.

The program is designed to help participants develop key skills such as collaboration, communication, leadership, responsibility, and accountability, while also building confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

Participants will be part of the Driftwood team and are expected to follow all camp rules, including our No Cell Phone Policy. An orientation will be held prior to camp to review expectations and program details.

This hybrid model offers campers the opportunity to participate in day trips with their peers while also gaining valuable on-camp experience as part of The Driftwood Team.
